On this tour, you will discover the secrets and history of the winery and learn about how the estate transitioned from a traditional pasture of arable land to beautifully maintained vineyards, orchards and ancient oak woodlands. Depending on the weather you will experience the tour either from the edge of Nannette’s Vineyard or the balcony overlooking the Manor while one of our knowledgeable tour guides brings to life some fascinating stories from our past. Join us at Balfour Winery and learn about our wines, our history, and the surrounding Hush Heath Estate. After the tour, you will be seated to watch a short film, in which Head Winemaker Fergus Elias talks you through the winemaking process from grape to glass. Finally, enjoy a tutored tasting of three of our wines accompanied by a delicious mixed platter of cheese and charcuterie, selected by our chef.
